In yet another surprising move, the US has declared Indian citizen RAW Agent Vikas Yadav as most wanted. His details have been published on the FBI’s Most Wanted list. The allegations against him include Murder-for-Hire, Conspiracy to Commit Murder-for-Hire, and, to top it off, a Money Laundering Conspiracy has also been added to his list of crimes.
Why is Vikas Yadav Most Wanted?
According to American intelligence, former R&AW agent Vikas Yadav was directly involved in a conspiracy to kill American terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, who is actively involved in efforts to divide India and create a separate state for Sikhs known as Khalistan. Designated terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun is closely protected by the American intelligence agencies, including the CIA and FBI, who consider him a key asset against India.
The US claims they foiled an attempt to murder Pannun and captured Indian intelligence officer Nikhil Gupta. He was suspected of direct involvement in the conspiracy. Allegedly, Nikhil Gupta attempted to hire a local hitman to kill Pannun. The US further claims that Nikhil Gupta named Vikas Yadav as a co-conspirator, coordinating the murder attempt from India.
Who is RAW Agent Vikas Yadav?
RAW Agent Vikas Yadav is a former R&AW (Research and Analysis Wing) agent, which is India’s primary intelligence agency. He hails from Pranpura in Haryana, India, and is accused of co-conspiring in the murder attempt of American terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun.
Who is Gurpatwant Singh Pannun?
Gurpatwant Singh Pannun is an American terrorist who advocates for the division of India and aims to carve out regions to form a religion-based separate nation for Sikhs called “Khalistan.” Over the years, he has issued multiple statements and released videos where he openly threatened the Government of India and even threatened to carry out terror attacks on the Indian Parliament. Despite repeated requests from India for his extradition, the US has ignored the pleas of its “close ally” and “defense partner,” continuing to use Pannun as a deep asset against India while labeling his actions as “activism.”
A Larger Conspiracy and Geopolitical Implications?
In a recently released interview, Nikhil Gupta stated that the FBI is attempting to wrongfully implicate him in this conspiracy as part of a broader geopolitical strategy against India. As we all know, a historic BRICS summit is about to take place, where the leaders of Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa are expected to make significant joint statements.
The most important of these could be a decision to leave the United Nations (UN) altogether. BRICS nations are also making significant progress toward de-dollarization and creating an alternative world order. The US, along with other Five Eyes nations, is exploring every possible means, including coercion, to sway India toward their own agendas.
